Recovery · Cupping
Cupping lifts the skin and underlying tissue instead of pressing on it, a technique used for centuries in traditional medicines to release deep tension. It is a standalone session at the studio and does not require an assessment first.

Who it's for
Used for centuries in Chinese, Middle Eastern and other traditional medicines, cupping involves placing cups on the areas you choose together; the suction is adjusted to your comfort throughout the session. Many people describe a feeling of relaxation or lightness, but experiences vary from person to person. Many clients book it for a stiff back or shoulders, heavy legs, or as a reset during a demanding training block.
We start with a short conversation about the area you want worked on and anything we should know. Cups are then applied to that area and left in place or moved across it, with the intensity adapted to your comfort. At the end we talk through how the area responded.
Most people leave feeling lighter and looser in the worked area. Circular marks are common and usually fade within a few days; how you feel afterwards varies from person to person.
If you are pregnant, taking blood thinners, have a skin condition or any medical concern, tell us before booking so we can check with the practitioner whether cupping is appropriate for you.
Cupping is a wellbeing session and does not replace medical advice.
